It's time for I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER Requel

Image
After watching SCREAM 5 in San Francisco, and HALLOWEEN KILLS  in London. It's time for this '90s hit to swim back in a pond. A requel too, a continuation of the saga with new cast and OGs returning to slay nostalgic syndrome once again such as Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr. and last sequel survivor Brandy After the failure of TV Series reboot, the requel is a good shot to save this franchise by hooking Kevin Williamson back again on production. Save the saga once in for all.  I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER AND I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER is Now Streaming on Netflix

Night of the Animated Dead, Skip it than Stream it!

Even worse than the pandemic. Credits is a lot of animators, So i'll take it from critiquing that aspect of it. I didn't particularly care for the style, but others may find it great and that is the hallmark of animation. It so boring, and not funny humor at all.  There's no right and wrong; I find it to be an eyesore. Animation are to pixilated. You can watch the trailer and decided for yourself but all I can say is to stay away from this. Skip it.  Many horror animations are better than this. Infact Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline are one of the minor scary fest but atleast they're not worse.

Chucky TV Series save the franchise from 2019 Worst Reboot

Image
The film was a phenomenon back in the 80s. It scored six more sequels after the success of the first one. In this TV Series which is called a Requel nowadays (Remake/Sequel) where the OGs are returning is a good progression from the 2019's worst reboot.  One thing is also more warning in this one. Chucky can brought back many times but nothing of it will work without Mancini. CHUCKY, we can't wait for Season 2.

Erik Matti's "7 Days Of Hell" is very scary even without the use of horror peek-a-boos

Multi-Awarded Director Erik Matti save the Filipino dying industry again with his awesomeness. 7 Days of Hell is freakin' scary and yet reminded you how good he is when it comes to horror films.  Pa-Siyam and Kagat ng Dilim is one of his best work of art without jump scares but still managed to scare the hell out of audiences. It's not boring and it gave you beautiful knowledge about Filipino mythical creatures and elements such as Kulam. I'm also very excited for his upcoming remake of Call my Agent starring Angel Locsin and Edu Manzano. 7 DAYS OF HELL IS NOW STREAMING ON HBO ASIA. I enjoyed it. We all enjoyed it.

Emille Joson' s Filipino horror short film resurrected by #MeToo. Became a sleeper hit in America

Image
Adivino short film has crawled out of the grave to bask in the glory of a new, more open-minded generation. Award Winning Writer/Director Emille Joson's beauty has been adored both locally and internationally - undeniably - but this young filmmaker prove to us again that she's more than just a pretty face.   As per NYC article sources, back in October 2017, journalists Megan Twohey, Jodi Kantor and Ronan Farrow published a New York Times article  that slayed the stories of several women’s encounters with Harvey Weinstein and his inappropriate, traumatic sexual advances which mostly turned into actual unconsented sexual acts of harassment, threats, assault, and even rape. This blown up the #MeToo movement, which gave victims of sexual abuse the confidence to stand up against their abusers, and gave a voice for many who felt repressed, bullied and unheard.  The movement  is now changing the face of cinema in America and other countries. Although in Philippines sexy bo...
